Ni70Cr30 is an austenitic nickel-chromium alloy suitable for temperature applications up to 1250°C. High chromium content (30% in average) provides very good life time, especially in the furnace applications.
Ni70Cr30 is characterized by high resistivity, good oxidation resistance, good ductility after use and excellent weldability. Alloy is not subject to “green rot” and is particularly well suited for reducing and oxidizing atmospheres.
Ni70Cr30 resistance wire is commonly used in surgical electrosurgical knives to generate high temperatures for tissue cutting. Its stable high-temperature performance and conductivity make it a common cutting tool in surgeries.
In hospitals' high-temperature sterilization equipment, Ni70Cr30 resistance wire can be used to generate high temperatures for sterilizing medical instruments and equipment, ensuring their safety and reliability.
Ni70Cr30 resistance wire is also used in heating elements of medical imaging equipment, such as heating components in X-ray tubes and CT scanners, ensuring the normal operation and imaging quality of the equipment.
In biomedical research, Ni70Cr30 resistance wire can be used for temperature control in bioreactors to simulate and control temperature conditions for biological reactions, such as cell culture and bio-reactions.
